SUMAK

The three-year-old stallion Sumak immediately stands out with his beautiful type. He has a calm character and is careful over the jump. 

His sire Landino VDL is a nine-year-old stallion competing at international 1.35m level with Wesley ter Harmsel. He is a son of Stakkato Gold, also the sire of Marcus Ehning’s top horse Stargold (winner of the 2023 Aachen Grand Prix). Landino VDL is bred out of the same keur-prestatie mare as Aksai Chin VDL (1.60m GP) and is closely related to the 1.60m GP stallions Bubalu VDL, Pessoa VDL and Montreal VDL. 

Dam Nerine, daughter of Falaise de Muze (1.50m level showjumping), is a full sister of the six-year-old Oleander (international 1.25m level showjumping with Giovanni Consorti, ITA). 
 
Granddam Iris Florentina (Dallas VDL x Cardento) is a half-sister of the AES-approved stallion Hop (international 1.45m level with Rhys Jones, GBR). Great-granddam Diamantis is a full sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Tyrone VDL with James Harvey (AUS) and Sarah-Luise McMillan (AUS).
