Metalena VDL is bred out of a half-sister to the KWPN approved stallion Freeman VDL (Emmerton VDL), champion of the KWPN Stallion Show. Closely related to the stallions Glennridge (1.60m) and Pan Am VDL (1.50m) and the 1.60m GP showjumping horse Southwind VDL. Recently saddled.
