Tanginius is out of the half-sister to the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Havinia, who came fifth in the 2002 WEG under Gianni Govoni. Dam Wishvinia (Raphael) did not perform in the sport herself but she did supply a number of very good showjumping horses.

For example, Tanginius is a half-brother to Cheers Casiro (1.40m level), Elvinio (1.40m level), Belle Fayvinia (1.40m level), Mylord Vinius Z (1.30m level) and the AES-licensed stallion Kavinio Z.

Wishvinia and her famous half-sister Havinia are out of Davinia (Abgar xx x Pastrocio xx), who also supplied two 1.40m and two 1.30m level showjumping horses. Davinia is also (great)grandam of numerous international showjumping horses, such as Tyrone VDL (1.60m level, James Harvey), VDL Groep Elexia (1.55m level, Leopold van Asten), Zinius (1.60m level, Harrie Smolders) and Coriander van ’t Vennehof (1.60m level).

Tanginius is by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, who regularly hits the spotlights these past few years with successful offspring such as Darry Lou and Tobago Z.
