May 7, 2024 · 'Spring in the air' auction May 4 - May 6 & 7 loose jumping & under the saddle
The two-day spring auction from Youhorse.auction has started very well. On Monday 6 May the betting for the first part of the collection was hot. The auctioned horses will leave for as many as fourteen different countries. “Later today another 44 horses will be knocked down and there certainly are a few rough diamonds among them”, Mario Everse reveals.
A fine kick-off for organizer Mario Everse: “We were able to select so many fine horses that we decided to spread the auction over two nights. The owners offer their horses in the hope they will sell and we, the organizers, are very happy when we again succeed in doing so. On Monday the auction of the first 41 horses closed and they were well received and the sellers were happy. That is super of course!”
An 8-year-old daughter of the brand-new Dutch champion Grandorado TN N.O.P. claimed the top price. This mare, Liseloes-Linn (damsire Astrello) can further explore her 1.30m level experience in the USA for 28.000 euro. The 4-year-old gelding Pantani PH (Verdi TN x Chellano Z) goes to Spain for 17,000 euro. The 6-year-old gelding Nathan V (Matisse de Mariposa x Air Jordan Z) will be his stable mate in the sunny south for 15,000 euro. The 7-yr-old mare Diovanna Red Wine (Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest x Clarimo) was sold for the same amount, also to Spain.
In total, buyers from fourteen different countries got hold of a new talent. Spain and Germany, with five purchases each, were the trendsetters that first auction night, followed by the Netherlands (4) and the USA (3).
Today round two
Today, Tuesday 7 May, the second part of the spring collection will follow. “Then we offer a similar collection, with quality loose jumping talents and horses under saddle. The price/quality ratio of our auctions is really always very good, but this round will offer more rough diamonds for a reasonable price! No doubt, this will be very interesting for people who are still looking for something special”, says Mario Everse.
