After a convincing opening evening on Tuesday, the May Auction of Youhorse.auction continued in style on Wednesday evening, May 6. Expectations were already high, but the final night effortlessly lived up to them.
Interest remained strong, with buyers from both home and abroad actively searching for horses with experience and potential. Several horses found their way to new stables, with the combination of sport experience and development opportunities proving especially popular. The eight-year-old 1.30m mare Holly Hickstead (Hickstead White x El Bundy) will move to Belgium, while the six-year-old gelding Carlo 578 (Caytens x Quaid L) will continue his career in Slovenia.
Quality as the common thread
Organizer Mario Everse looks back with satisfaction on two successful auction evenings: “We have experienced an exceptionally strong edition, with a collection featuring more than forty horses already competing at the higher levels. That was clearly reflected in both the interest and the results. This auction once again confirms: quality sells. In total, the horses were sold to 27 different countries. It is wonderful to see how our international network continues to grow and how both returning and new clients keep finding their way to Youhorse.auction.”
Video days approaching: a few spots still available
Following this successful May edition, Youhorse.auction is already focusing on the next auction. The Pre Summer Auction is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2 and preparations are already in full swing, with the video and selection days taking place on Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12.
“We have already received many interesting entries for these days, but there is still room for a number of outstanding horses,” says Mario Everse. “Anyone with a horse that has quality and potential and wants to present it internationally will find a strong platform with us. This period is ideal to achieve a successful sale before summer.”
