DOMINANT V DOMINATES OCTOBER EDITION YOUHORSE.AUCTION

The 4-yr-old Dominant V, who went for 60,000 euro, dominated the October edition of Youhorse.auction. However, the collection, consisting of both young, freejumping talents and horses under saddle, had more highflyers, that were sold like hot buns. Mario Everse and Alan Waldman can therefore again look back on a successful auction.
In total 65 lots were knocked down on the regular Tuesday-night, October 4. Mario Everse says: “I was already very enthusiastic about the collection beforehand, but it is always a question of wait and see. The great thing about an auction is that it remains exciting until the end and that you never know which horses will incite a bidding duel.”
Dominant V honors his name
One of the horses that created a fierce bidding duel was the 4-yr-old Dominant V (Dominator Z x Chellano Z). The gelding was knocked down for 60,000 euro and so became the absolute auction topper of the evening. This was not really a surprise for Mario Everse: “Sure, it was to be expected. Great to see that quality is well paid for! This horse went to a Swiss sponsor of a well-known top-class rider.” Dominant V will join the same stables as the 5-yr-old Sinoire Keizersberg (Scotch on Ice x Golden Grannus) who went for 30,000 euro.
Bubble Gum Z for 40,000 euro to Peru
There is never any lack of foreign interest for Youhorse.Auction and this edition proved it yet again. The 4-yr-old Bubble Gum Z (Baedeker x Diamant de Semilly) was sold for 40,000 euro to Peru. These buyers claimed their first at Youhorse.auction, which had never yet had any buyers from this country.
Kagupardie (Cidane x Carrera VDL) will also have to travel quite a distance. This 7-yr-old mare out of the damline of the phenomenal Apardi and Bacardi VDL found a buyer for 22,000 euro from Saudi Arabia. The 6-yr-old Lollipop (Heathrow x Mermus R) will leave for the USA for 36,000 euro, into the same direction that the 5-yr-old Valentino van Spalbeek Z (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Flamenco de Semilly) will go. He was sold, like the second son of Vigo d’Arsouilles, the 5-yr-old Migo (damsire Namelus R), for 30,000 euro.
Both Migo and Idylle (Etienne F x Damiro) who went for 24,000 euro can continue their careers in Canada. Of course, several talents stayed in Europe. Six horses were sold to Germany, Norwegian buyers claimed for 20,000 euro the 5-yr-old Monsieur Croque (Glen x Cardento) and the 4-yr-old Ultimas (Unlimited x Canturano I) went for 26,000 euro to a French owner.
Selection days
The next Youhorse.auction is already ticked on the agenda: 4-8 November. “The collection will again consist of young, free jumping horses and horses under saddle. The first selection- and video-day is Monday 17 October, organized at Stal Everse in Waddinxveen. “We are still looking for the better kind of horses for this auction and people can still enter”, concludes Mario Everse.
