Zenith van de Donkhoeve descends from Zirocco Blue VDL, who under Jur Vrieling won team gold at the European Championships and became individual fifth. Several offspring reached Grand Prix level, including the top-class horse Eddie Blue ridden by Devin Ryan (USA).
Dam Johanna van de Donkhoeve jumped at 1.20m level herself and already produced the AES licensed stallion Chicago van de Donkhoeve Z (Carrera VDL). Johanna’s sire Vivaldi du Seigneur (1.50m level showjumping) is a son of the – also in breeding very valuable - 1.60m Grand Prix mare Panama du Seigneur.
Grandam Famona, daughter of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Zadok, supplied the 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping horse VDL Fakir under Ales Opartny (CZE) and two 1.40m level horses.
