ABOUT
We have high expectations of this one. The two-year-old, well developed Wingman 3 Leien is a light-footed horse with a good canter, a lot of scope and already shows a big heart. He is not afraid to jump from a far distance. He comes out of the famous Klapscheut family and is a close relative of multiple 1.60m Grand Prix horses.
Sire Conthargos, who passed away in 2023, is still much loved by the breeders and riders. He left more than 25 licensed sons behind and has supplied multiple Grand Prix horses.
Dam Principessa van de 3 Leien (international 1.40m level with Lennart Van Vlaenderen) is very interestingly bred as daughter of Nabab de Reve out of the 1.50m level showjumping mare Blendy van Klapscheut (Ahorn Z). Blendy supplied two 1.60m Grand Prix mares (Esquina van Klapscheut and Fenia van Klapscheut) and two mares at 1.40m to 1.45m level.
Great-grandam Uriana van Klapscheut (1.40m level, sire Heartbreaker) produced, amongst others, three 1.60m Grand Prix horses Coriana van Klapscheut, Fenom van Klapscheut and Farah van Klapscheut.
