Pegase van ’t Ruytershof (recently started in a 1.55m GP) comes from a famous Belgian sport family, that of Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof. Pegase is a half-brother of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Jilbert van ’t Ruytershof and a cousin of Le Blue Diamond van ’t Ruytershof (1.70 GP), Herald van ’t Ruytershof (1.60m level) and Kentucky van ’t Ruytershof (1.55m level).
Dam Kastella Z carries the valuable genes of Kashmir Van Schuttershof and Major de la Cour, both highly influential in the (Belgian) breeding of showjumping horses. Kashmir remains one of the best sires worldwide, known for offspring like Nabab de Reve, H&M All-In, Gazelle and H&M Indiana.
