Bred out of the damline of Mylord Carthago and Bamako de Muze, Velany JW van ’t Meulenhof is a highly talented and strongly built stallion. This light-footed stallion jumps with a powerful take-off and excellent hind leg technique.

Sire Taran de la Pomme, a son of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Ta Belle van Sombeke, competed at the highest level with Kevin Staut. Despite serving a small number of mares, he has produced the 1.70m GP horses El Torreo de Muze and Dalila de la Pomme, as well as the 1.60m GP horses Tristan Horta Z, Caipiranja and Chic Hin d’Hyrencourt.

Dam Secret Touch JW van ’t Meulenhof (Denzel van ’t Meulenhof) is six years old and competes at 1.30m level with Frederik Wuytack (BEL). She is a half-sister to three approved stallions: Quick Touch JW van ’t Meulenhof (8 years, 1.40m), Ramos JW van ’t Meulenhof (7 years, 1.35m) and T-Touch JW van ’t Meulenhof (4 years). Another six-year-old half-sister competes at 1.30m level, and a half-brother jumps at 1.45m.

Granddam Female Touch van ’t Meulenhof (Vigo d’Arsouilles) gave the BWP-approved stallion Moneymaker van ’t Meulenhof (1.60m GP with Oleksandr Prodan). She descends from Vodka Orange de Muze (Darco), a top broodmare who gave three 1.60m Grand Prix horses, one at 1.50m, and two at 1.40m/1.45m level. Vodka is bred out of the renowned Fragance de Chalus, who gave six 1.60m Grand Prix horses, including the stallions Mylord Carthago and Bamako de Muze.
