Valencia is a mare born in 2021, by Varihoka du Temple out of a Baloubet du Rouet damsire. A horse that jumps well: good hind-leg technique, push off the ground at the fence and quick off the floor. She uses her hindquarters well and is careful. Still untrained, suitable for the amateur and the semi-professional rider.
Sire Varihoka du Temple (Selle Français, 2009) is a son of Luigi d'Amaury (from the line of Quidam de Revel) and jumped international Grand Prix under Patrick Stühlmeyer, including wins in the Grands Prix of Opglabbeek and Neustadt, a second place in the Grand Prix of Hagen and a third place in the Nations Cup of Rome. His first foals sold for high prices at auction.
Damsire Baloubet du Rouet (1.60m) is one of the greatest showjumping stallions of all time and was legendary under Rodrigo Pessoa, with individual Olympic gold in Athens 2004 and three consecutive World Cup Finals (1998, 1999, 2000). His offspring include:
Chaman (1.60m, under Ludger Beerbaum)
The dam line is full of international sport:
Chacanno JRA (1.60m)
Chuck Bass (1.60m)
Dikanno PS (1.55m)
Balcanno PS (1.50m)
Contrast Blue PS (1.45m)
A careful, quality mare from a true jumping line.
