The ease with which this horse is doing his work and taking the fence tells you a lot about his capacity for the sport. For the 2-yr-old Ural van de Donkhoeve everything seems easy. He is quickly off the ground and is extremely co-operative.

 

Sire Costello T Z is 6-yr-old and placed at international 1.25m level under Frederik Dekens (BEL). With Comme il Faut and Toulon in the pedigree the expectations are high. His dam is also a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Myra under Lieven Devos (BEL).

 

Dam Ganescha van de Donkhoeve Z descends from Glenfiddich VDL, the only licensed son of showjumping canon Bacardi VDL who, under Janika Sprunger excelled at five star level.

 

Grandam Leona van de Donkhoeve descends from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallions Heartbreaker x Robin I Z x Chin Chin x Zadok. De Chin Chin mare Ramona van de Gaver bred very well and also supplied the Grand Prix horses Utopia van de Donkhoeve (1.60m level under Pieter Devos), Wizard van de Donkhoeve (1.45m level under Wilm Vermeir) and the 8-yr-old Ovidius van de Donkhoeve (1.50m level under Donald Whitaker).
