Sire Iago des Peupliers is a son from former World Champion Vigo d’Arsouilles and the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Opale des Peupliers (For Pleasure). His damline is very strongly built and has already supplied numerous 1.60m Grand Prix horses.
Dam Ocarina van de Donkhoeve has inherited the valuable genes of the influential Qerly Chin via her sire Iron Man van ’t Meulenhof (Parco). She is a half-sister of Ilario van de Donkhoeve (born in 2018), who was selected for the third phase of the BWP Stallion Selection.
Via grandam Leona van de Donkhoeve (Heartbreaker) and great-grandam Famona van de Donkhoeve (Robin I Z) this line goes back to the 1.40m level showjumping mare Ramona van de Gaver (Chin Chin x Zadok), dam of Utopia van de Donkhoeve (1.60m GP), Ovidius van de Donkhoeve (1.50m GP) and the stallion Wizard van de Donkhoeve (1.45m level). A pedigree that supplied a lot of international showjumping horses.
