ABOUT
Bred from the line of the successful 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Orient Express (Quick Star) and at the same time a great-grandson of him via the KWPN stallion Global Express VDL (Orient Express). U2Quickey has an extremely interesting pedigree.
His 8-yr-old sire United Touch (Untouched) is jumping at international 1.45m level and is on the eve of a fine Grand Prix career. Also this is a case of line breeding. Father's sire Untouched and dam Touch of Class are both out of the same 1.60m Grand Prix mare Cantate Touch, who is a daughter of Olympic champion Classic Touch, ridden by Ludger Beerbaum.
U2Quickey Z is out of Celicia (Global Express VDL). Grandam is the French-bred Anarchie (Fergar Mail), a full sister to the 1.40m level showjumping horse Queenie.
The line goes back via Quinconce (Papillon Rouge) to Kamtchatka (Le Tot de Semilly), who, besides Orient Express (winner of individual and team silver at the 2014 WEG in 2014 under Patrice Delaveau) also produced Uncommon (1.55m level under Alexis Deroubaix, FRA), Taxi Driver (1.45m level) and another two 1.40m level showjumping horses.
Kamchatka is also a sister to Dollar de la Pierre, 2002 World Champion with the French equipe in Jerez de la Frontera. They both are bred out of the outstanding 1.60m GP showjumping horse Loripierre.
