The 3-yr-old Twitter DB Z is a beautiful bay stallion who reminds a lot of his sire Toulon. He has a lot of go and blood, is careful over the fence and displays plenty of scope
Sire Toulon jumped for years in Nations Cups under Hubert Bourdy (FRA) and is called one of the best breeding Heartbreaker sons. More than a hundred offspring are already 1.60m Grand Prix classified, including F-One USA (World Equestrian Games participant and 1.65m GP with Lorenzo de Luca), Delux van T&L (1.70m with Niels Bruynseels), Vancouver de Lanlore (1.70m GP with Pius Schwizer) and DM Jacqmotte (1.70m GP with Wilm Vermeir).
Twitter DB Z comes out of the famous ‘Donkhoeve family’. His dam, descending from Calato, already supplied the AES licensed stallion Jaro van de Donkhoeve, who jumped at international 1,45m level as a 9-yr-old and then left to the USA.
Grandam Tendresse vd Donkhoeve (Nabab de Reve x Zadok) produced Affection van de Donkhoeve (1.45m level showjumping) and a 1.30m level showjumping horse and is also the (great) grandam of Oberon VDH (1.55m GP) and two 1.45m level showjumping horses.
Tendresse is a half-sister of VDL Fakir (1.60m GP) herself and a close relative to the 1.60m GP horses such as Utopia van de Donkhoeve, Ovidius vd Donkhoeve, Allegro van de Donkhoeve, Belano vd Wijnhoeve Z and Farao of Heritage.
