Tony JT is a long-lined three-year-old stallion that jumps in the same consistent way every time. He shows scope, good use of his body and a powerful canter. In free jumping, he demonstrates that he thinks with the jump and jumps with balance and overview. His way of moving and jumping suits the modern sport horse and makes him an interesting prospect for the future.

He is bred from the combination Carrera VDL x Douglas. Sire Carrera VDL competed himself at 1.60m level and is one of the proven sport stallions of the VDL breeding program. His offspring are known for their scope, attitude and reliability in sport. On the dam's side we find Douglas, a stallion that competed internationally at the highest level and is renowned for producing strong, durable showjumpers with an excellent mentality.

The dam competed herself at 1.40m level, and the further damline includes several horses that performed at 1.50m to 1.60m level. This family is known for reliability in sport, strength and consistently passing on quality.

Tony JT was previously offered in the December 2025 edition of Youhorse.auction. After the purchase, roaring (laryngeal hemiplegia) was diagnosed. The current owner has decided to offer the horse again through the auction. The veterinary report regarding the roaring condition is fully available for interested buyers, allowing every buyer to make a well-informed decision. In many cases, surgical treatment for roaring is possible.

Tony JT combines a modern jumping technique with a very strong sport pedigree. A young stallion with all the ingredients to continue developing towards the higher levels of the sport.
