ABOUT
The two-year-old Tasmanian Devil has a strong build, an active hindleg and shows a lot of effort over the jumps. He is set to become a fine sport horse.
Darco son O’Bailey vh Brouwershof N.O.P. won the Dutch Championship with Maikel van der Vleuten and is currently jumping at the biggest shows in the world. The stallion comes out of the family of Opaline des Pins, dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Jus de Pomme (Olympic champion Atlanta), Shogoun II, Quintus, Richebourg and Tresor d’Opaline.
Dam Kiki is via Genius a granddaughter of Baloubet du Rouet and is related to Audi’s Jikke (1.60m Grand Prix). Granddam Taggi (Frisbee Kerrelec) produced three international showjumping horses: Balzac (1.60m Grand Prix with Anthony Condon), Fergus (1.45m level) and Huck (1.35m level).
Taggi herself is a half-sister to Ferrari (1.60m GP with Steve Guerdat), Baroness (1.60m GP with Luis Fernando Larrazabal), Conte Ferrari (1.50m) and the approved stallion Balous Diamond (1.50m).
Note: The two-year-old horses in this auction have not yet undergone radiological examinations. These young horses are still in full development. The sellers have chosen not to have them X-rayed until they are 18 months old. Any radiological examinations can be carried out in consultation and at the buyer's expense.
