A mistake is easily made, but with Sweet Balou de Dreve that will hardly ever be the case. What a clever horse when taking the fence, in which he shows his ‘go’ attitude by nature. A fine sport horse for the future, especially given his pedigree.
Sire Bisquet Balou van de Mispelaere has already proven himself at 1.60m level under Nicola Philippaerts, as did his grandsire Emerald ridden by Harrie Smolders.
Dam Penelope de Dreve is known as half-sister of the international 1.45m level showjumping horse Elise de Dreve (Diarado) by Sini Peslier (BEL).
Grandam Amber Oudelijns, descending from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Orlando (Heartbreaker x Darco), is a half-sister of Izaura G (Grosso Z) who successfully performed at 1.50m level ridden by Leon Thijssen and is dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Tyson Uno (Tyson).
