ABOUT
The 4-yr-old Socrates of Love is one to fall in love with. A handsome appearance with a great jumping technique and a lot of quality. This will be a very successful showjumping horse or champion hunter. In training at home he can jump a small course.
The pedigree is also exquisite. Sire Malito de Reve (1.40m level showjumping) is a son of the former WEG champion Cumano ridden by Jos Lansink. Malito already produced multiple top-class horses, such as Gancia de Muze (1.70m Grand Prix) and Grand Cru van de Rozenberg (1.65m Grand Prix).
And now the damline, that goes back to World Cup mare Qerly Chin. Socrates’ dam Narcotique B&V (Kannan) jumped her first international 1.40m competition with Valentijn De Bock (BEL) as a 7-yr-old.
Grandam Incroyable de Muze (Nabab de Reve) is placed at 1.50m level herself and is also dam of My Way B&V (1.50m level), Monaco B&V (1.40m level) and Lot Blue B&V (1.30m level).
Great-grandam Excellentia de Muze (For Pleasure x Darco), bred out of the 1.60m GP mare Narcotique de Muze II, produced 15 international showjumping horses including the 1.60m level performing Huxx de Muze, Heroine de Muze, Iphigeneia de Muze and the licensed stallion Inshallah de Muze (1.55m GP).
