How much sport do you want to see in the pedigree of a broodmare? The 4-yr-old Sirene d’Augustijn has an interesting background and is in foal to Contagio Z (Colman), who was successful under Gerrit Nieberg. She is a beautiful, tall-framed and correct mare with a good character.
Sirene is in the sire’s line fortified with Vigo d’Arsouilles (world champion) x Jus de Pomme (Olympic champion) and progenitor Lys de Darmen.
Her dam Qarpado bred impressive sport horses: Ulyssse (1.60m GP under Philippe Lejeune and Pius Schwizer), Fidele (1.50m GP under Olivier Philippaerts), Hyasinthe (CCI3* eventing under Ludovica Vincenti) and Jerome van Dorperheide (1.30m level).
Grandam Irene (Lys de Darmen) produced, amongst others, Africa Capital Fiston (1.60m GP) and the 1.45m level showjumping horses Wattman and Baly van Stapelvoorde.
