ABOUT
The 4-yr-old Sancho van de Achterhoek immediately strikes us with his looks and fine balance in canter. He also jumps in great style. You can go any which way with this one, as a showjumping horse, an equitation or eventing horse. He is saddle-broken and can this year do his first jumping in the ring.
Sire Amadeo van ’t Vossenhof Z is a 9-yr-old stallion who made his international debut at 1.45m level under Frederic Vernaet (BEL) last year. As son of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Asca Z and the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Caloma II Z (Carthago) he is very interestingly bred. Caloma II’s full sister Caloma Z jumped at 1.60m level and supplied the very well breeding 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Quasimodo Z.
Sancho comes out of Ilona van de O.L.V. Hove, daughter of the 1.50m level stallion Wandor van de Mispelaere (Landor). Grandam Vondola van Koekshof (Skippy II x Zeus) produced two 1.30m to 1.35m level showjumping horses and is a half-sister of three 1.30m to 1.40m level horses and the BWP licensed stallion Bonfeuer van Koekshof. Vondola’s full sister produced six international showjumping horses, such as the 1.60m GP horse Escadron van Koekshof (Winningmood) under Jordana Laffranchi (BRA).
