The pedigree is already promising, but Risco van de Oude Heihoef is also very promising himself. This 4-yr-old bay is still a bit green, but he already shows a lot of scope.
We can only find amply proven stallions in his pedigree: Kannan x Tinka’s Boy x Heartbraeker x Libero H x Grannus x Zeus. Dam Hannah van de Oude Heihoef produced an international 1.40m level showjumping horse by Zirocco Blue VDL.
Grandam Estina van de Bisschop jumped international up to 1.55m level for years herself under Samantha McIntosh (NLZ). She is a full sister of Holland van den Bisschop (1.60m Grand Prix) and Dulf van den Bisschop (1.45m level) and half-sister of the 7-yr-old 1.40m level placed Olivia van de Bisschop (Emerald). Closely related is the top-showjumping horse Jade van de Bisschop, which is successful under Pieter Devos and took part in the 1.70m level (!) Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen in September.
