What a special horse this is. Not only an excellent jumper with a good technique and scope, but also check out his unique markings. Racoon vd Radstake has a slight stringhalt in his right hind leg in walk.
His sire, Landino VDL, is an eight-year-old stallion competing internationally at 1.35m level with Alex David Gill. He is a son of Stakkato Gold, also the sire of Marcus Ehning’s top horse Stargold (winner of the 2023 Aachen Grand Prix). Landino VDL is bred out of the same keur-prestatie mare as Aksai Chin VDL (1.60m GP) and is closely related to the 1.60m GP stallions Bubalu VDL, Pessoa VDL and Montreal VDL.
His dam Isla Caterina (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Heartbreaker x Cassini I) is a half-sister to Glock’s Zaranza (1.60m Grand Prix with Gerco Schröder) and closely related to Impala (1.60m Grand Prix with Jane Annett), Icaterina (1.60m GP with Joe Whitaker), Tulum (1.55m Grand Prix with Patricio Pasquel) and the KWPN stallion El Salvador (1.45m level).
