Some horses can generate tremendous power out of nowhere, and the three-year-old Quite A Surprise AC Z is one of those. A true powerhouse with a strong take-off and carefulness. He is saddle broken.

Sire Quint van het Maarlo Z, a son of top-class progenitor Quidam de Revel, jumped at 1.50m level in 2023 wih Harrie Smolders and Thieu Hijbregts. He is a half-brother of Danodanie (1.60m Grand Prix) and Affelay Z (1.50m level).

Dam Ramona van den Heikant descends from Mithras de Regor (1.55m Grand Prix). Granddam Karona van de Heikant (Toulon) gave the international 1.35m level showjumping horse Queen van den Heikant. Great-granddam Sarona (Ferro x Ramiro Z x Voltaire) is a superb broodmare, with offspring such as Gorre (1.60m GP), Elisa (1.50m), Fury (1.45m), Ides van de Heikant (1.45m) and Jintro van de Heikant (1.30m).
