ABOUT
The 2yo Poppi Waldstar Z is still a green and youthful mare but already shows carefulness, scope and a great attitude. She seems a true winner and above all a horse that wants to please her rider.
Sire Papin de Kalvarie is a son of Gemini CL xx, the clone of the renowned 1.60m GP thoroughbred stallion Gem Twist, whose successful career with Greg Best yielded two silver medals at the Olympic Games of Seoul. Dam Wilma de Kalvarie (Darco) produced multiple international showjumping horses, including Fleur de Kalvarie (1.50m GP, ridden by Olivier Philippaerts and now under Gregory Wathelet).
Dam Iseline v/d Hagenhorst is a daughter of Cardento, that won a silver medal at the EC, WC and Olympic Games of Athens with Peter Eriksson and by now has proven his world-class breeding qualities. Here, he is paired to three other greats of jumper breeding: Ramiro Z, Nimmerdor and Lucky Boy xx.
Grandam Uraguay H.L. (Ramiro Z) jumped at 1.50m level and foaled the 1.40m level horse Irseline vd Hagenhorst. Great-grandam Herarda additionally produced the KWPN-approved stallion Michael (1.50m GP), Willemijn (1.60m GP) and is the granddam of a long list of international showjumping horses, including Ibera v/d Hagenhorst (1.50m level) and Sebastian (1.60m).
