ABOUT

Not only is the 4-yr-old Pleasure v/d Nachtegaal Z a handsome horse, he jumps well, too. This bay gelding is light-footed and has a powerful take-off. On the video day he had been three weeks under saddle.

Pegase van ’t Ruytershof (recently started in a 1.55m GP) comes from a famous Belgian sport family, that of Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof. Pegase is a half-brother of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Jilbert van ’t Ruytershof and a cousin of Le Blue Diamond van ’t Ruytershof (1.70 GP), Herald van ’t Ruytershof (1.60m level) and Kentucky van ’t Ruytershof (1.55m level).

Dam Ciemara (L’Esprit x Murano x Ekstein) already supplied two international showjumping horses: Kupenda van de Nachtegaal (1.45m level showjumping as a 9-yr-old under Johnny Stevens) and the 7-yr-old Amara van de Nachtegaal (1.30m level with Malin Baryard-Johnson).

Ciemara is bred out of the half-sister of Admara 2 (1.65m GP), Queen (1.55m GP), Haroon (1.55m GP), I’m Quality Time (1.50m level) and Bomar (1.40m level). All these horses come out of Somara, the half-sister of the world-famous Hickstead under Eric Lamaze.
