The 3-yr-old Pirate du Vlist Z has a lot going for him. A beautiful model, a splendid color and also a lot of scope in jumping. Exactly what you would expect from his ancestry.
Pegase van ’t Ruytershof (1.45m level jumping) comes out of a famous Belgian sport family, that of Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof. Pegase is a half-brother of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Jilbert van ’t Ruytershof and a cousin of Le Blue Diamond van ’t Ruytershof (1.70 GP), Herald van ’t Ruytershof (1.60m level) and Kentucky van ’t Ruytershof (1.55m level).
Dam Electra du Vlist descends from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Phin Phin. She is, like the 1.30m level showjumping horse Djampassi du Vlist, bred out of the Oldenburger mare Limerick (Pinon Patriot). Great-grandam Idyllic II (Galoubet A) produced the stallion Cheese W Z (1.55m GP) and is a half-sister of the 1.60m GP horses Daredevil and Here and Now.
