ABOUT
This is a unique chance to get hold of the half-brother to Glock’s Zaranza. Zaranza jumped 1.60m courses under Gerco Schröder and was noticed for his sublime technique and attitude. Palermo also has this great hindleg technique and beautiful looks. He has light-footed movements and a good balance. The KWPN has invited him for the stallion performance test, he can still participate.
Sire is the 7-yr-old Liverpool, who was announced champion of the KWPN Stallion Selection in 2019. He jumped at 1.30m level last year and was sold as a sport horse to the USA by the end of 2022.
Dam Santa Caterina is a preferent- keur- awarded mare by Heartbreaker. She supplied, in addition to sport horses, also very good broodmares and is grandam of, amongst others, the KWPN stallion El Salvador (1.45m level showjumping), How’s My Name (1.55m level), Icaterina (1.50m level), Impala (1.50m level), Girocco (1.50m level), Ibiza (1.45m level), Hocus Pocus (1.45m level), Ina (1.40m level) and Guess What’s My Name (1.40m level).
Grandam Kassini (Cassini I) is also dam of Tulum alias Well Done (1.50m level showjumping under Patricio Pasquel) and the great-grandsire of the KWPN stallion Monator van de Radstake (Dominator Z).
