The 5-yr-old Orkaan van den Muggenhoek jumped his first few 1.00m courses, but when you see his scope, you know he can go much higher. A pleasant horse to ride. He is fresh and playful, but also honest and interesting to train to higher levels.

* Orkaan can do some cribbing after feeding if he is not wearing a neck collar.

Sire is the KWPN stallion Idextro (Dexter R), who made his debut at 1.55 Grand Prix level under Jens van Grunsven at Indoor Friesland in October 2023. He also became sixth in a 1.50m class at this show.

Dam Karina van den Muggenhoek is via Fly (1.40m level showjumping) a granddaughter of the top-class progenitor Kashmir Van Schuttershof. Grandam Fleur descends from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Londontimes and is also dam of the 1.45m level showjumping horse Jarizona van de Muggenhoek, who was ridden by the 16-yr-old Yoni van Santvoort (NED). Out of the same line come the 1.60m GP horses Morning Star, Vennoot and Astrello.
