ABOUT
With a mare like Olivia you can go any which way. We believe her to make a nice hunter, eventing or showjumping horse. This 4-yr-old mare has a nice model and good movements. She is still green, but already displays scope and carefulness over the fence. Last year she had a foal.
Her sire Vangelis (Nonstop) jumped at 1.60m level for six years on end, first under Robert Smith (GBR) and later with the – at that moment - relatively inexperienced rider Nayel Nassar (EGY).
Olivia is like four 1.20m and 1.30m level showjumping horses bred out of the BWP mare Gratina C. She descends from the Cassini son Cabrio van de Heffinck. The crowd erupted in applause when Cabrio van de Heffinck bid the sport goodbye at Jumping Mechelen in 2017. Under the guidance of Olivier Philippaerts, the Cassini I-son built an impressive list of achievements that includes their victory in the Grand Prix of the Spruce Meadows Masters in Calgary.
Grandam Ratina B (Hamlet x Darco) already supplied the 1.45m level showjumping horse Ballerina Zen is also grandam of the 9-yr-old VDL Jasper (1.45m level with Daniel Coyle, IRL).
