ABOUT
The 4-yr-old Oliver is not the tallest in the group, but he has an easy way of doing things. A showjumping or eventing horse with a great attitude and nice blood. Every jump is the same and that is what we like to see. His sire jumped at 1.60m courses, his dam at 1.50m level and grandam at 1.60m.
Sire Spartacus TN, son of top-class progenitors Stakkato x Grannus, jumped above average and performed at 1.60m Grand Prix level under Henk van de Pol. He died at an age of 13-yr-old due to colic. Nonetheless he has got 18 offspring active at 1.55m level and higher, such as Gakhir (1.70m GP under Erynn Ballard).
Dam VDL Groep Unique (Palm S) has jumped at international 1.50m level under Maikel van der Vleuten and already supplied five international showjumping horses, such as the 1.40m level placed Julian (under Jeanne Sadran, FRA) and Lalique (under Gabriela Roger Ibars, ESP). Unique is also grandam of the 1.55m GP horse Sildouch Z (Spartacus TN) and two 1.45m level showjumping horses.
Grandam Parmala Douche (Mr.Blue x Voltaire x Darco) is even more famous, because she boosted Maikel’s career at 1.60m level. Parmala Douche is a half-sister of Kentucky, who also jumped at 1.60m level under Maikel van der Vleuten.
