A fairy-tale story that came true! Oh La La claimed 6th place in the final of the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Championships for 5-year-olds in Lanaken last weekend. Throughout the show she stood out, tackling the demanding and technical courses with great quality, commitment and overview.

Oh La La was originally sold by us as a 3-year-old in the July 2023 auction and moved to Italy. In Lanaken we crossed paths with her again – and once more she turned heads as a real eye-catcher, giving us fantastic publicity. Speaking with her enthusiastic owner, it became clear that many people had already inquired about her. That’s when we suggested offering her again in our auction, giving everyone the chance to compete for her. For the owner it’s perfect: in our auctions, the market determines the price!

After Lanaken, Oh La La returned to Italy, where she can be tried or viewed. From there she can easily travel anywhere in the world – with our assistance as always for stable-to-stable delivery.

Two words describe her best: flashy and cute. Oh La La is a mare with presence and a flawless way of jumping. She is kind to handle, shows just the right amount of blood and is an attractive prospect not only for showjumping but also for hunter classes or eventing.

Her pedigree is German rooted. Sire Orplid carries the valuable blood of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Orlando(Heartbreaker x Darco) and himself competed up to 1.50m level with Christof Kauert (GER).

Dam Lacaressa (Lesotho) already gave two international 1.40m level horses: Checkpoint 35 and Romeo 870. Granddam Cares jumped at 1.40m level herself and is a half-sister to the 1.50m level showjumping horse Der Champ
