ABOUT
This is a real quality horse to see and on the jump. This 3-year-old chestnut mare Obertha XH has active hind legs in moving and jumps with a fabulous hindleg technique.
Sire O'Bailey van het Brouwershof (Darco) is an 8-yr-old and he already jumped his first international 1.55m level courses under Maikel van der Vleuten. A promising stallion out of the damline of Opaline des Pins, dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Jus de Pomme (Olympic champion Atlanta), Shogoun II, Quintus, Richebourg and Tresor d’Opaline.
Obertha’s elite-awarded dam, Bubertha jumped at 1.30m level. By Elvis Ter Putte she produced It’s Bubertha (1.40m level showjumping), DHI Showman (CCI3* eventing) and Jub who was sold to Mexico, who won the Blom Cup for 4-yr-olds showjumping horses in 2018.
Great-grandam Mubertha (Burggraaf x Joost x Abgar xx) supplied several international showjumping horses: Fubertha (1.50m level under Nicola Philippaerts), Nubertus Z (1.45m level), Cubertha Z (1.40m level), Humbertha (1.45m level) and Cuba (1.35m level).
