Another 3-yr-old showjumping talent which we have high expectations for. Obelix in his way reminds us a lot of his famous grandsire Heartbreaker, who himself finished fourth in the Grand Prix in Aachen and passed on a lot of showjumping quality to his offspring. Every jump of Obelix is athletic and supple throughout the body.

His sire Scuderia 1918 Halifax van het Kluizebos jumps by the book and is also called the most successful son of Heartbreaker. In 2017 he dominated the showjumping ring under Lorenzo de Luca and was proclaimed as WBFSH Horse of the Year.

Dam Kornetta (Cornet Obolensky) goes back to the famous broodmare Carthagena Z (Carthago x Burggraaf x Almé Z). Carthagena Z produced five international showjumping horses: the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Zerly ridden by Christina McCrea (USA) and Everse W ridden by Rowan Willis (AUS), Google (1.45m level showjumping), Gameboy (1.40m level) and I-Star (1.35m level). Carthagena Z herself is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Allegro and the 1.50m level horse Vario.
