ABOUT
The three-year-old Oakwood van de Hazenhoek came straight from the group of other young horses. Green as grass, but a fantastically beautiful horse with a good canter and a lot of scope. He does everything very easily. His seven-year-old half-sister Sisley van de Hazenhoek is already jumping international 1.35m courses with Robin Vermeir (BEL).
Sire Opium JW van de Moerhoeve is very interestingly bred as son of Kanann x Nabab de Reve and as grandson of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare VDL Groep Eureka. He is even a half-brother of the 1.70m Grand Prix stallion Mumbai. The 11-yr-old Opium JW jumps at international 1.50m level under Lillie Keenan (USA).
Dam Oilily van de Hazenhoek has two 1.60m Grand Prix parents: Echo van ’t Spieveld and Lancome (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Diamant de Semilly), ridden by Colleen Acosta (USA). Closely related are the 1.50m level horses Kyra van de Doornhaag and Nabisco van de Doornhaag.
