Sire is the popular progenitor Harley VDL, who performed at 1.55m level himself and passes on a lot of quality and scope to his offspring. Dam Bluerike was performing at 1.30m level and carries the predicates elite, IBOP and sport. As a 3-yr-old she finished with only eights in her IBOP for the jumping components, canter and attitude.

Grandam Merrike (Animo x Purioso x Voltaire) is elite-, prestatie-, preferent- and prok- awarded and supplied four 1.30m level horses and she is also the grandam of the WKD Cairo (1.50m level), Viorike (1.45m level) and Diorrike (1.40m level). The 1.60m GP horses Valent, Tornike and Barnike and the KWPN stallion Cidane come from the same family.
