The 3-yr-old Miss Lena VDL has inherited good reflexes and carefulness. Sire Brantzau VDL (Baloubet du Rouet x Carthago Z) is a 9-yr-old stallion who produces remarkable offspring.
Dam Gelena VDL descends from Mr. Blue. Grandam Welena VDL (Chin Chin x Ahorn) was national champion free jumping of the 3-yr-old KWPN mares. She produced the 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping horse Celena VDL, who under Marlon Modolo Zanotelli won the GP of Samorin and Valkenswaard and the Nations Cup in Samorin.
Great-grandam is the European (in hand) champion mare Helena (Ahorn). This mares line already produced several international showjumping horses, such as Southwind VDL (1.60m level), Anderson VDL (1.55m level), Pan Am VDL (1.50m level), Onatello VDL, Glennride (1.60m level) and Freeman, champion of the KWPN stallion selection in 2013.
