What an athlete this Micardo is. The 3-yr-old gelding is a magnificent, very complete horse and he draws even more attention with his good jumping manners over the fence. 

It is no coincidence, as he is the son of Grandorado, who already jumped 1.55m level as a 9-yr-old under Willem Greve. 

Micardo comes out of Ferna II, daughter of Quality Time TN who won the 1.60m Grand Prix in San Patrignano under Jeroen Dubbeldam. Grandam Leana (Harcos x Schalkhaar) produced several 1.20m level and 1.30m level showjumping horses and is bred out of the full sister of the famous 1.60m level showjumping horse FAN Schalkhaar, who was very successful under Eddie Macken (IRL). They participated in the Olympics in Atlanta in 1996 and the World Equestrian Games in The Hague in 1994.
