ABOUT
The 5-yr-old Magna Puella doesn’t have a lot of experience yet (she is just saddle-broken), but is nonetheless an interesting showjumping horse. She shows a good take-off, wants to be careful and has a good hindleg technique when jumping. Who will train her further? Her dam jumped at 1.50m level.
Sire Opus Magnum is a 12-yr-old son of the progenitor Ogano Sitte (1.60m Grand Prix). Harm Lahde (GER) jumped him at international 1.40m level as an 8-yr-old. Later he competed at 1.35m level with Simon Nizri (MEX) and Nicholas Butler (IRL). Opus Magnum is the half-brother of the 10-yr-old 1.60m Grand Prix horse Oak Grove’s Desperado under Nicolette Hirt (USA).
Showjumping talent also comes from the damline, because Magna Puella is like Sunday Girl (1.35m level showjumping) bred out of the 1.50m level mare Almacorado (Acorado I). This Hanoverian mare is a half-sister of the 1.50m level showjumping horse Santa Lucia D. Grandam Wantastica (Werther) is a half-sister of the in Germany licensed stallions Wonderful and Golden Champ.
