ABOUT
Steal the show with Macchiato! What a beauty is this 4-yr-old palomino. He also jumps with a fantastic technique and a lot of bascule. A showjumping horse for the future, but he can also be an eye-catcher in the hunter ring.
Macchiato HDH is a son of the palomino stallion Ice Cream (1.20m level showjumping), who descends from the buckskin stallion Cream on Top (1.40m level). The dam Anastasia (Oklund) was successful up to 1.60 Grand Prix level under Bianca Schoenmakers.
Anastasia already produced two international showjumping horses: Daylight (1.55m Grand Prix ridden by Bianca Schoenmakers and 1.50m level ridden by Vincent Dings) and E-Vincent (1.35m level).
Grandam Usina (Baloubet du Rouet x Figaro), full sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping horse Qorsina ridden by Nicole Muller (SUI), supplied a total of four international showjumping horses. Besides Anastasia these are: the 1.55m level horse Gio W Z (Falaise de Muze) under Devin Ryan (USA), 1.45m level horse Happiness van de Hazelhof (Falaise de Muze) ridden by Grace Long (USA) and the 6-yr-old, 1.30m level horse London City (Glock’s London) ridden by Antonia Vita Pinardi (ITA). Close relative is the Hanoverian 1.60m GP stallion For Edition I (Forsyth), ridden by Taylor Land (USA).
