The pedigree is very fascinating with Diamant de Semilly, Carthago, Alme and Landgraf I in a row. Liathago is a half-sister of two international showjumping horses: Falou (1.40m level showjumping) and Gadalca (1.30m level showjumping). Falou already produced two 1.35m to 1.30m level horses: the 7-yr-old Jillz and Jepetto.
Grandam Carthaga performed under Stal Everse at 1.40m level and is a half-sister of the licensed stallion Eurocommerce Napels, who under Gerco Schröder jumped at 1.50m level. Her half-sister Wodka Lime supplied the 1.45m level showjumping horse Fanta Lime.
Closely related is the 1.50m showjumping stallion Cobra (Carthago x Landgraf I), who became World Champion in Lanaken in the 6-yr-olds and reserve champion in the 5-yr-olds
