This is what we call ‘jumping by the book’! A smashing jumping technique, calculated and with a lot of scope. Lashes W is a remarkable 5-yr-old mare.
Cellestial, the grey stallion who was born in 1994 and jumped at 1.60m Grand Prix level under riders such as Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and René Tebbel, has supplied a great many German Bundeschampionat finalists and Grand Prix horses. It is because of his offspring that he is so popular amongst the breeders.
Lashes W is bred out of the Holsteiner mare Wapitola (Clearway), who produced two international showjumping horses: Bernadette M&C (1.40m level) and Extasy (1.50m level ridden by Jana Wargers). Grandam G-Cerise (Calando I x Capitano) supplied three 1.30m to 1.35m level horses and is a half-sister of the licensed 1.50m level stallions Cevin, Landcapitol and Quite Capitol. Closely related are the licensed stallions Aristo Z (1.50m level) and Bella Baloubet (1.60m level).
