Dam Obsession descends from the ten-year-old KWPN stallion Kensington ES, who jumps 1.50m courses with Caroline Müller. He is a half-brother of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Haya. 

Granddam Heart is an NRPS mare by Creed (Catoki) x Grandino x Baloubet du Rouet and dam of N.Sync K (7 years and 1.35m level showjumping). Heart is a half-sister of Kayak (10 years and 1.55m Grand Prix with Theodore Boris) and L.A. Style K (9 years and 1.45m level with Briana Elena Vasile).
