The 8-yr-old Kayana M is a magnificent mare with a nice sport type, a nice head and a lot of expression. She moves light-footed, has a superb canter and blood.
The grey has illustrious sires in her pedigree: Cornet Obolensky x Voltaire x Indoctro x Zeus x Lucky Boy xx.
Dam Bayana M is bred out of the 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping mare Vayana, who was ridden by Valentina Isoardi (ITA). Vayana is a half-sister to Olinda (1.60m Grand Prix under Todd Minikus, USA), Noltaire (1.30m level) and Cidana M (1.35m level).
The damline goes back to Diana (Zeus), who is also grandam of twelve showjumping horses at 1.30-1.60m GP level, such as the 1.60m level placed Ibiza D and Julius D. The same family also produced the Olympic showjumping horse Authentic, good for individual bronze in Hong Kong, and Pius Schwizer’s top-class showjumping horse About A Dream.
