ABOUT
Irco Mena performed at 1.60m Grand Prix level, like his full sisters Mirca G and Marcoville, and soon made his mark as a sire.
He was an excellent showjumping horse that broke through under Royne Zetterman in the Grand Prix and World Cup Finals and was participating in Nations Cup teams. He also started in the World Equestrian Games in The Hague.
For a stallion that did not serve a large number of mares in his early years, he has made a deep impression with his offspring that, for Sweden, were placed in the World Breeding Championship for young showjumping horses in Lanaken. Several offspring broke through at the highest level. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London two even won medals: Wega won individual silver in eventing and Sultan V won team bronze in showjumping.
