ABOUT
This will be an interesting investment. An implanted embryo of Chacco Blue out of the half-sister of the 1.60m GP stallion Calippo (ridden by Margie Engle) and Olympic showjumper Carlo 273, who was very successful under Nick Skelton and later Sergio Alvarez Moya. The dam, the 14yo Bellissima, is also for sale in this auction.
Four offspring of Bellissima are active in the sport: Cortez (1.40m level), Cayadina (1.35m level), Adagio’s Bellissima (1.30m level) and the 6-yr-old Lausbub 465 (1.25m level).
Bellissima is, via her sire Casquetto (1.40m level) a grand-daughter of top-class progenitor Casall. She is also a half-sister of Chris Cross (1.45m level), Cassim 7 (1.40m level) and Enrique (1.35m level).
They are out of Gunda IV (Cascavelle x Gonzales), a half-sister to T-Cantura II (1.50m level), Maldiria (1.40m level) and a 1.30m level showjumping horse and a cousin of Lighteningtrail (1.60m Grand Prix under Dieter Mehrens).
