ABOUT
The almost 8-yr-old Ilona VA is a strongly modelled mare who appeals to us a great deal. She has good movements and a powerful take-off.
She descends from the Holsteiner champion stallion Casaltino (1.45m level showjumping under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson). The Casall son Casaltino comes out of the same dam as Quattro (1.60m Grand Prix) and Calvados D (1.45m level).
Also Ilona’s dam Viola VA descends from the top-class progenitor Casall. She already supplied two international showjumping horses: My Casall (1.40m level showjumping) and Quando VA (1.45m level) and the 5.5-yr-old Draco VA (1.25m level).
Grandam Cosa Nostra (Capitol I x Caletto II) produced, amongst others, Lavaletto (1.60m Grand Prix), two 1.40m to 1.45m level showjumping horses and a Grand Prix dressage horse. She is also grandam of the licensed stallions Aragorn (1.55m GP) and Charaktervoll (1.35m level), the 1.50m level showjumping horses Quindt la Silla and Aesoka Tano and eight 1.40m to 1.45m level horses.
Ilona is not saddle broken yet.
