This horse draws attention thanks to his great mindset and powerful manner with which he bounces off the ground. Ike is ten years old and was born at Everse Stables. Earlier this year, he jumped at international 1.45m level with daughter Senna Everse (19). Ike makes you feel confident like no other. He guides his rider to the jump and won’t let you down easily. Not to mention, he does not like to make a mistake. In short, a horse to have a lot of fun with. 

Sire Big Star rose to world fame thanks to his phenomenal rides in 5* Grand Prix’s under Nick Skelton. They concluded their sport career by winning individual gold at the Olympic Games. Fun fact: Big Star was also (co)owned by Everse Stables. 

Dam Watkiekie (Burggraaf) produced Heartbeat (1.40m level) and Kiekum (1.45m level). 

Grandam Sunrise (Heartbreaker x Pilot), a half-sister of Chocola Z (1.60m GP), is an outstanding broodmare. She produced the promising stallion E-Star (Big Star) that was on the verge of a career at the highest levels with Janika Sprunger before an injury threw a spanner in the works. She also produced three 1.45m jumpers and the seven-year-old Love of Oliver Fletcher (GBR), also auctioned by Youhorse.auction. Sunrise is also the dam to six 1.30-1.40m level showjumping horses.

Mario Everse: “Ike is a wonderful horse to handle. He has a lot of blood and go when it comes to jumping. Suitable for the professional or amateur rider. He has a big heart and will not let you down in the course. He is a bit tensed in the warming-up because of the other horses. We don't jump him high then. Ike knows what needs to be done in the ring.”
