The six-year-old Gradezza vd Donkhoeve Z is difficult with putting on the bridle behind her ears and is therefore offered as a broodmare. This light-footed, blood-type mare descends from Grand Slam VDL (1.60m Grand Prix) out of the well-known Donkhoeve damline.

Dam Hermina vd Donkhoeve Z (Harley VDL) is bred from Gomina van de Donkhoeve (Calvaro). The line goes back to the 1.40m level showjumping mare Ramona van de Gaver (1.40m jumping).

Ramona, a half-sister of VDL Fakir (1.60m Grand Prix), gave the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Utopia van de Donkhoeve and Ovidius vd Donkhoeve, as well as the approved stallion Wizard van de Donkhoeve (1.45m level). Utopia is also the granddam of Jessica Springsteen’s top horse Don Juan van de Donkhoeve (1.70m GP).

Ramona is also the granddam of Belano vd Wijnhoeve (1.60m GP), Farao of Heritage (1.60m GP), Allegro van de Donkhoeve (1.60m GP), Passion vd Donkhoeve (1.55m GP) and the 1.50m level horses Bon Aventura ODTH Z and Quando van den Heuvel. From the same family come the approved stallions Impress-K van ’t Kattenheye Z (1.65m GP) and Sherlock (1.60m GP).
