The four-year-old GK Chezjanov had only been under saddle for six weeks at the video day. A light-footed jumper with uphill build and blood. He’s very clever at the poles.
Sire Corniolo is one of many approved sons of Cornet Obolensky. As a nine-year-old he competed at 1.40m level with Marina Frutoso de Melo (POR). His dam is a half-sister to the 1.65m Grand Prix horse Quno with Edouard Schmitz.
Dam Dornroeschen 2, sired by Clarimo (1.60m Grand Prix), also gave two international showjumpers: the nine-year-old GK C’Est Une Ami (1.45m level last year with Leonie Büttel) and the eight-year-old GK Karlotta (1.40m level with Martina Lain).
Granddam Viola XVIII (Lerano) is a full sister to the 1.50m GP horse GK Let’s Go and to two 1.35/1.40m level showjumping horses and is a half-sister to GK Caamp (1.50m level). Viola’s full sister Udine I gave GK Curacao (1.60m GP), GK Coco Chanel (1.60m GP), GK Finette (1.50m) and three 1.40/1.45m level showjumping horses.
